CONCERT FOR MARIE - THANKS TO GRUNNESUND PIGEKOR
On June the 14 juni 2014, the choir Grunnesund Pigekor with their conductor Hilde Enoksen, arranged a concert in the Norwegian city of Lillesand. The choir, in addition to being good, are full of energy and humour. Often, the money they get in from their concerts, are donated to different .... This time, Wild Initiative benefited from their generosity, and the money will go to help Marie, who lives a life in pain. Read more about Marie here:

The choir had a wonderful concert with a repertoir of dfferent and wellknown popsongs.
They had a big audience, and people danced and enjoyed themselves. Suddenly, in the middle of the concert, the stage was filled with different animals: elephants, lions, gorillas, crocodiles and monkeys. This to describe the engagement and work of Dr Per and Wild Initiative for rehabilitation and sustainable development of animals and nature in Cameroon.
They had a big audience, and people danced and enjoyed themselves. In connection with the concert, there was also a stand presenting our organization, Wild Initiative.
The group of ladies on the picture to the right, Åse Nicolaisen, Grethe Hodnebrog, Åse Stien og Maria Ringheim was in Cameroon in February 2014. They became engaged in the work of Dr Per through the TV-films
presented in Norwegian television, and wanted to do something.
Especially the situation of Marie went to their hearts, and they started
to gather money to help her.
They also brought Marie a wheel chair when they came to Garoua.

Wild Initiative in an organization where people are brought together through their involvment in, and wish to solve environmental problems on many levels. Most of the people involved give of their time, share their knowledge and help financially to realize different projects. Those who have participated in projects find them deeply meaningful and engaging.
For the local people, this is a big inspiration.
In all its simplicity, this kind of work and contact, makes a difference.
